ABBI Pays Out $891,343 to Bucking Bulls in Las Vegas |

PUEBLO, Colo. (November 9, 2009) – American Bucking Bull, Inc. (ABBI) paid out over $891,000 to the country’s most elite bovine athletes last week. Held from Oct. 28-Nov. 5 in Las Vegas, the 2009 ABBI World Finals consisted of a Wild Card Classic event, Classic Finals and Futurity Finals. The two rounds of Classic Finals competition was held in conjunction with the PBR (Professional Bull Riders, Inc.) Built Ford Tough World Finals and pitted the top young bucking bulls against the best 40 bull riders in the world.

NFL Legend Junior Seau joined PBR's Dickies Durabullfighters in the arena on Saturday Night for the Built Ford Tough Series event in Ontario. In case you missed his bullfighting debut on VERSUS (or Sports Center!) he got run over pretty good on Friday night but bounced back up and was ready to go again with nothing more than a face full of dirt to show for his close encounter. Shared PBR veteran bullfighter Shorty Gorham,"We only had about five minutes to actually practice before the event. But after a section he told us he understood our 'plays' and was ready to go in. Now that guy is tough!" |
